Parapan American Games appearances (overview)

Canada is scheduled to compete in the 2023 Parapan American Games in Santiago, Chile from 17 November to 26 November 2023. The country was represented by 136 competitors in 13 sports at the 2023 games.[1][2]

Wheelchair tennis player Rob Shaw and paralympic cyclist Shelley Gautier were the country's flagbearers during the opening ceremony.[1]

Canada qualified one athlete to the games and nominated Kyle Tremblay to the role on September 12, 2023.[3]

Athletics[edit]

The athletics team received a collective 13 medals and set 3 national records.[4] Sheriauna Haase, the youngest Canadian athletics competitor at the 2023 Games, won the bronze in the women's T47 100m and 200m.[5][6]
