We should be clear that people do not belong in categories for countries that did not exist[edit]

We should be clear that people do not belong in categories for countries that did not exist. For example we should not place people in the Swiss category just because where they lived was later in Switzerland. We should only place them in the Swiss category if during their life time they lived in Switzerland or we a subject of Switzerland. Anything else is anachronistic and inaccurate.John Pack Lambert (talk) 13:48, 29 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]
