Inconsistencies in this hierarchy[edit]

@Gonnym: will this hierarchy be on your to-do list? We have e.g. Category:American television series by production location as both parent and sibling of Category:Television shows filmed in the United States. "Shooting" & "filming" location are both used in category names, and "Production location" seems in practice to mean the same thing. As for "series", I am not keeping up with CFDs, but "series" should either be a sub-cat or merged to "shows". – Fayenatic London 12:10, 19 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]

  • I fixed the hierarchy issue, but the category naming is still a mess. This is mostly because of the RfC to change most of the categories to use "show". Some of us raised issues at the RfC on how it was handled but it is what it is. I'm not currently interested in tackling this tree. The original programming which I'm trying to fix, is painfully slow as is. --Gonnym (talk) 13:01, 19 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]
