David Weil (born 1989/1990)[1] is an American television writer, producer, director and showrunner.[2][3][4][5] He is known for creating the Amazon Prime Video television series Hunters (2020–2023).[6][7][8][9] He is also known for creating the Amazon anthology miniseries Solos (2021).[10][11][12][13] He also co-created the series Invasion (2021–present) with Simon Kinberg for Apple TV+.[14]

Weil grew up in Great Neck, New York.[15] He is Jewish.[16] He is also the grandson of Holocaust survivors.[17]
