Raised in a military family, Pastor Kyner’s journey has taken him across the United States—from Pennsylvania, where he was born, to Texas, Ohio, Washington, California, Alaska, and Alabama. His educational journey in ministry began at Midwest Bible College in Missouri and culminated with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Sociology from Jacksonville State University. During his college years, he served as a student pastor in Nebraska and Kansas.

After receiving his license, Pastor Kyner’s dedication led him to serve in Alabama, Georgia, and a significant tenure of 20 years in Florida before moving to North Dakota. Currently, in addition to his duties at Alfred and Devils Lake Churches, Pastor Kyner is an active member of the local Ministerial Association, contributes to chapel services at several nursing homes, occasionally preaches at Gackle Grace Baptist Church, and chairs the General Conference License and Credentials Committee.
