Ousethorpe is a small hamlet in the civil parish of Millington, in the East Riding of Yorkshire, England. It is situated approximately 1.5 miles (2.4 km) north of Pocklington.

History[edit]

Ousthorpe was formerly a township in the parish of Pocklington,[1] in 1866 Ousethorpe became a separate civil parish, on 1 April 1935 the parish was abolished to form Millington.[2] In 1931 the parish had a population of 13.[3]

Ousethorpe medieval settlement is a scheduled monument which was designated on 22 October 1998.[4]
