Within a year, she had more than 672,000 followers and 20.5 million likes.[4] Her TikTok content began with comedic nun videos[1] but later focused on disability awareness.[2]

Codd was discovered by the casting team of The Midnight Club through TikTok,[5] though she deleted her account after being cast in the show.[3] Codd had no acting experience prior to being cast as Anya.[6] The Midnight Club's co-creator and showrunner, Mike Flanagan, cast Codd to appear in his next Netflix series, The Fall of the House of Usher.[4]

In March 2024, Codd was cast as Phlegma in How to Train Your Dragon, making her feature film debut.[1]

Personal life[edit]

Codd is from Wexford, Ireland.[7] When she was 15, she seriously injured her foot playing football.[8] At age 23, Codd had her right leg amputated below the knee due to complications from her previous foot injury.[4]
