Sar Asiab-e Yusefi District (Persian: بخش سرآسیاب یوسفی)[a] is in Bahmai County, Kohgiluyeh and Boyer-Ahmad province, Iran. Its capital is the city of Sar Asiab-e Yusefi.[2]
At the 2006 National Census, its population (as Bahmai-ye Garmsiri District) was 12,874 in 2,498 households.[3] The following census in 2011 counted 10,741 people in 2,535 households.[4] At the latest census in 2016, the district had 9,402 inhabitants in 2,536 households.[5]
After the census, Bahmai-ye Garmsiri-ye Shomali Rural District was separated from the district in the establishment of Mombi District. Bahmai-ye Garmsiri District was renamed Sar Asiab-e Yusefi District and divided into two rural districts.[2] The village of Sar Asiab-e Yusefi was elevated to the status of a city.[6]
