Order of goalscorers[edit]

Hi,

originally I ordered the goalscorers by time scored. Now I see that Kante4 reordered them alphabetically by nationality. The question is which do we want. I think national isn't really the right option because it is a game between clubs not national teams. maybe order by club (add in brackets or something). or maybe completely change the format and put it in a table?

Time is surely not right. Either by nation like we did at international tournaments or by name. Have nothing against a table but that question remains. So, name or nationality? Kante4 (talk) 14:06, 4 December 2013 (UTC)[reply]
I think nationality isn't right, as the tournament is not between nations. for example we have 2 nationalities (England and Japan) with 3 goalscorers each, but they are from different clubs. probably clubs would be the best and to move it to a table. any more opinions? Koppapa, CyMoahk2? --SuperJew (talk) 14:12, 4 December 2013 (UTC)[reply]
Just going on nationality certainly isn't correct for a club competition. Neither is timing. In fact, since it's a club competition, the format they're currently listed in isn't sufficient. I think they should be changed to reflect these: 2012 FIFA Club World Cup#Goalscorers ; 2011–12 UEFA Champions League#Statistics The order is by name, though nationality is "shown" first; club name and nationality also should be included. My derp: order is by club name first and foremost. CyMoahk2 (talk) 15:40, 4 December 2013 (UTC)[reply]
Damn, I'm not awake... THose two tables I pointed out don't even use the same ordering scheme. Oh well, I say we need a table whatever the ordering scheme - player name, club name, or minutes played. (Probably not the latter for such a small competition). CyMoahk2 (talk) 15:41, 4 December 2013 (UTC)[reply]
I chose the FIFA Club World Cup format, as I agree with you about minutes played being less relevant in such a small competition, and also the purpose of the mobcast Cup is to be a women's alternative to the FIFA Club World Cup no? --SuperJew (talk) 16:10, 4 December 2013 (UTC)[reply]
Ordering them by club seems best. Thanks. -Koppapa (talk) 17:02, 4 December 2013 (UTC)[reply]
