Playoff names[edit]

There is a dispute about the playoff names that should be discussed here. One editor claims it is "Top Playoff" and "Bottom Playoff", while all other league has the standard "Championship round" and "Relegation round" just like Soccerway ([1]), the source for the tables, does. I have yet not seen any source for "Top Playoff" and "Bottom Playoff". Qed237 (talk) 15:01, 7 March 2016 (UTC)[reply]

@Arni777: it is best if we discuss naming here. Qed237 (talk) 15:02, 7 March 2016 (UTC)[reply]

i dont care about forgien sites, i live in israel, i know how this playoffs are called, "פליאוף עליון" means top playoff, while "פליאוף תחתון" means bottom playoff... Arni777 (talk) 15:14, 7 March 2016 (UTC)[reply]

WP:COMMONNAME should be a good read. There is a reason we have FC Bayern Munich instead of "Bayern München" and so on. As I said, you need to provide a source, for example the regulations which should have the playoff names. Qed237 (talk) 15:35, 7 March 2016 (UTC)[reply]

if you want to keep it as u think it should be, i will ask you to change the names in past years as well so no confusing will happen, thanks when u will finish.Arni777 (talk) 16:03, 7 March 2016 (UTC)[reply]

I gave you a soucre that uses "Championship round" and "Relegation round", do you have anything for "Top Playoff" and "Bottom Playoff"? Qed237 (talk) 17:07, 7 March 2016 (UTC)[reply]
This is the link, http://fussball.wettpoint.com/en/league/israeli-premier-top-playoff-israel.html
but never the less, i asked you a question as well, and i will be glad if u answer it. Arni777 (talk) 18:10, 7 March 2016 (UTC)[reply]
I would say that commonly used soccerway is a better source, dont you have anything from league or association? Qed237 (talk) 19:25, 7 March 2016 (UTC)[reply]
