Removing middle names?[edit]

The MEN has an article that lists candidates just with their first and surname, removing the middle name. I don't know whether we want to cite that somewhere and remove the middle names? That'd make the style consistent with articles from previous years. I'm slightly cautious about the article, as it lists Mohammad Dar for Ancoats when he seems to go by Majid, but I haven't spotted anything else that might be contentious. Tagging M2Ys4U as they added the tables here and might have a view... HornetMike (talk) 22:15, 13 April 2023 (UTC)[reply]

I agree that middle names should be removed (unless they are necessary for disambiguation) - other election articles (and especially those about Parliamentary elections) are written to exclude middle names and I don't see why these council elections should be any different. -- M2Ys4U (talk) 20:22, 15 April 2023 (UTC)[reply]
