Notation[edit]

This page fails to define the symbols used in its equations, and fails to provide any indication of the implications or value of the formulas. Brews ohare (talk) 20:46, 14 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I agree. I was trying to learn more about this force, but this page only confused me. There are many other science articles that have this problem. I don't know enough about the subjects to fix them, but I hope someone does before everyone gets a headache from trying to understand gibberish. Lets have some real world implications and some better explanation of crazy equations on here! Testmasterflex (talk) 01:19, 17 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Larmor formula[edit]

It should be made clear that the "non-relativistic form" etc. don't describe the ALD force but rather Larmor's formula. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 89.139.44.222 (talk) 13:22, 28 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Signature[edit]

It seems, that signature (+, −, −, −) is used in the formula for the force. Since on both special relativity and Minkowski space pages use signature (−, +, +, +), this can be confusing. Therefore I'm changing the formula to be agreeable with (−, +, +, +) and adding the comment about the signature used. Corrections are welcome. Vikasatkin (talk) 21:36, 21 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]
