Closing credits

The closing credits were showing Chipmonk albums, but The Chipmunks sing the Beatles Hits (the only one I have) was missing. Is there a reason for this that can be discussed in the article? Bubba73 (talk), 01:50, 23 December 2007 (UTC)

Sequal

I know that it is very early o be thinking about a sequal to Alvin and the Chipmunks movie, but is there speculation about wether there will be one or not? I came across a site the other day (of which the name escapes me) that said a Sequal was due to be released in Dec. next year. Where is the animated part?

I saw this movie and don't remember any animated part. The article says it's live-action/animated movie, but I didn't notice the animated part. Can someone explain to me how this is also animated? Cast Section

In a matter of some hours (after I go to sleep and wake back up) I'll be overhauling the cast section to conform with wikipedia's standards. Anyone who would like to help, feel completely free. I will quote something that is extremely unencylopedic:

He's a real jerky fruit basket.; A bad-tempered; She's quite pretty; He's funny, charming, arrogant, and a HUGE FLIRT. now this needs cleanup.

Keep in mind that I'm not a fan myself of the movie, that's why I brought this to the talk page. I got the information from Erik's talk page. So if there is a true fan of the movie, please clean it up.

Recent edits

User 68.97.78.5 has just made [some truly awesome edits] to this article. I especially like this one which helps cover some of the plot "Later, Dave notices that Alvin is on his head and Dave puts a beanie on his head and takes it off and Alvin farts in his face." I fondly remember that bit from the movie and I did get a giggle out of it. But are these edits suitable for this article? Do they at all help to really cover the plot at all? The only redeeming quality I can think of for these edits is that it helps convey to the reader the style of humor and action that was chosen for this film, but I think that would require a new section if the intent is to express the style of content in this film. Not to mention this gem: He is furious when he gets home and is mad at Simon and Theodore while they are watching TV, "SpongeBob SquarePants" on an episode Have You Seen This Snail? where Mr. Krabs tells SpongeBob he's 15 minutes late. Theodore defecation (Aka "raisin") on the couch and then Dave makes Simon eat it and Dave finds Alvin having a shower inside the dishwasher waiting for the rinse cycle. Theodore is scared because he cannot fix Dave's anger with numerous apologies, and he elbows onto the phone's answering machine button. ... So well-written. Get that contributor a pulitzer or something.

Sequel Synopsis

First and foremost, the sequel has not even been 100% confirmed. Why are we having a synopsis for it if there isn't even a guarantee the sequel will exist?

You know what wold be a cool idea for the next movie? If Ian found the Chipettes and used them to compete against the Chipmunks and throughout the movie the chipmunks and chipettes are trying to get together. No, it is spanish, Alvin doll speaks spanish, Theodore speaks japanese and Simon speaks french. I checked tonight, and even made sure on SKY's subtitles . Lord loss210 (talk) 19:48, 23 December 2009 (UTC)

Confirmation of the Voice Actors

Hello, can anyone confirm or add a reliable source about the voices of Alvin and the Chipmunks? Many people claim that Karman, Bagdasarian, nor Vining did sing the parts of the movie.
