During Week 11, the show showed quick clips of fashionable "Harajuku Girls". In actuality, some of these girls were cosplayers. Three of the girls were clearly in cosplay of Visual Kei bands; one was dressed as Tatsurou from the band MUCC, while two others were dressed as members of the band Gazette.

Is there a Wiki page to describe what is "good" and "bad" trivia? Since several episdoes of this cycle are Japan-centric, and most the images they show of the "Japanese girls" are not fashion based images, but cosplayers, I think this trivia will be interesting to people who liked these episodes and would like to know more.   • Admittedly, the article still needs quite a lot of work, but none of this came across when I read the article. Perhaps it should be in the main section if it's THAT relevant, but I tend to think it doesn't fit with this article as it was so "disjointed". In any case, I doubt if anyone reading the article would care whether some cameo shots were of Harajuku girls or cosplayers. If the differences weren't stated in the show, it would be considered original research, and thus should be removed. Ohconfucius 05:55, 13 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Kelle, you go girl[edit]

Forget those other girls that made fun of you because you act "like a white girl." I went through and still go through the same thing. Shine and be the best you that you can be.

CHECK OUT THIS BLOG WROTE: In the 1960s, we proclaimed that BLACK IS BEAUTIFUL. It really is, but please don't make yourslef think that you have to act "ghetto" or be poor to truly appreciate being black. I know that as a race, we have been predisposed to think that the we have to fulfil certain stereotypes. We complain about the poor treatment of our sisters and brothers, but we continue with the same pattern of behavior. To truly grow in society as a culture or race, we have to break the bonds of slavery on our minds. It's great to know your ROOTS, but stop making what our ancestors went through an excuse for the actions of today. Look to change the future, not dwell on the past. Black, White, Mexican, or Asian, we are all products of our different environments; being born there comes with specific obligations. If change is to be made in the images portrayed in the media and society, it starts with you. Instead of trying to make the a quick buck, try making an honest dollar. I know some of us feel trapped in a lifestyle, but making a command decision in your life can directly affect those around you. Take advantages of the opportunities afforded to you, even if they aren't the best. Do the best you can to make it better for the next generation. Dr. Martin Luther King didn't have nearly as many opportunities as we have, and his will, combined with God's will, changed the world as we know it. Many people who know me say "Kimmy, you're the whitest black girl I know!" I let them know that just because I speak correct English, like all types of music, and I don't act "ghetto" doesn't make me any less Black. I am shocked when even black people say something similar, as if white people are the only ones allowed to be smart or like country and rock music. Please stop subjecting yourselves to self-racism!!! Choose to be smart, choose to contribute to society. I say again: BREAK THE BONDS OF SLAVERY ON YOUR MIND! Embrace who you are, and be the best example that you can be.

Beautiful "Black" Girl[edit]

I just finished watching the show and I am curious to why it would be replayed, at least without edit? When Yaya and Eva boasted about being "black", it made no sense. We have no control over the color that we enter the world, so it would have made more sense for them to boast of their accomplishments. When they spoke of being black they did not reveal their color, but they did reveal their predjudice of mine! We all know that the girls went to Tokyo,Japan,but they also visited Jamaica at the 2nd episode.So,we should discuss if you can inlude it as an international destination.Thank you.

Call-Out order[edit]

Okay, someone needs to stop making false changes. First off, for the second call out (2 Column), Kristy was called second, and Amanda was bottom three; not the other way around.
