The Clash[edit]

"At the end of Reverse Running the band quotes the bassline of The Guns of Brixton by The Clash (transposed by a tritone)[1]."

We can't put this in the article, for the following reasons:

The website cited is not sufficient. It's not enough to just play two sound clips and say "I rest my case". This is original research, which is banned. (The website cited doesn't actually make the claim that the song quotes any other song, anyway. It's just two sound clips next to one another.)

The website cited isn't in English and doesn't look reliable.

The editor who added it wrote that 'the citation points directly to sound samples which cannot be 'unconvincing'. As a matter of fact, I find the comparison extremely unconvincing, and fail to see any correlation.

Finally, songs sound like other songs all the time. This is a completely unremarkable event. For this to be notable, a significant portion of a song would have to have been quoted or sampled, and then we'd have to have (probably multiple) reliable sources pointing this out. But as I already explained, we don't have any reliable sources for this claim, and frankly I think it's nonsense anyway.
