Size of the introduction[edit]

I tried to remove the lengthy (and redundant) paragraph in the introduction, and it was undone by @LancedSoul with the following message: "see WP:LEAD and WP:FILMLEAD, the purpose of the lead is to summarise the entire article so it is supposed to repeat details from the body." I understand the idea, as it makes sense to summarize stuff from the article, but the article here is barely more than a stub! The full article is 924 words long, the introduction 234 words long, and the paragraph in question 126 words long, i.e. more than half the intro and 13.6% of the entire article.

Look at https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/A_Scanner_Darkly_(film) for comparison: the full article is 3,493 words long, the intro 207 words long, and the part about the production only 51 words (25% of the intro and 1.5% of the entire article)!

How about something shorter like this in the introduction instead?

"The film was shot digitally and then animated using interpolated rotoscope, like Linklater's previous animated efforts. Principal photography took place in February and March 2020 at Troublemaker Studios in Austin, Texas." Mictateur (talk) 11:15, 13 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]
