Daniel Van Buyten[edit]

Must be very hard to keep all these records up to date! One thing I know is that the data about Daniel Van Buyten is slightly outdated. He has 81 caps since the match against Algeria (see belgianfootball.be), his "oldest"-record should be updated, and his "Most appearances while active with a non-Belgian club" is probably higher too, since it wasn't updated after Algeria (but I'm not sure how to verify that). Perhaps tomorrow after Russia will be an ideal time to update these (in case he is selected there)! Sygmoral (talk) 13:08, 21 June 2014 (UTC)[reply]

I totally agree about the difficulty of keeping it updated, especially when matches follow quickly like on a major tournament. The promising sentence "The page is updated where necessary after each Belgium match and is correct as of" seems a bit dangerous. But, we come from far; this page arose out of nothing multiple months ago (of course with the help of some existing data on records) and is getting better and better elaborated. For some records with remaining answer, I don't feel sure if it is possible or anyone is willing to dig very deep for finding this single record.
