A 2018 article in The Sun (a deprecated source, so should be presumed untrustworthy) says 20 April 1936; a 2016 bio on the BBC Radio 3 site says 30 April 1936. This date seems a rare and difficult beast to find ... I've removed the claim cited to The Sun and left the date as April 1936 - but is there a solid source for this? - David Gerard (talk) 10:44, 3 December 2019 (UTC)[reply]
