Hey, I just edited a bit into this page I may also add some more characters, and maybe pictures if I can figure out how you're supposed to do that properly with Wikipedia. I'm new to Wikipedia's editing system, though, so I'm not sure if I'm following standards correctly. Hopefully people can help me out with that.

Some translation work?[edit]

In the manga, vampire hunters, like Kuroe used to be, are referred to as "Vanatoare". Quite by chance I discovered that this is based on the Romanian term for "hunter". Are there any other terms which are based on non-English phrases of which we could have the original meaning, like "Einseigrad Sparuda" or "Absorbire"?--Marktreut (talk) 14:21, 31 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]

→ I think Latin has "absorbere" as a verb, and it is the "mother" of all similar words in other languages (English: to absorb). German also has a derived verb; and I assume all Romance Languages must have a similar word or word-group as well (including Romanian, which allegedly has "absorbire" as a noun?). While the manga does come out periodically, the author's webpage says he publishes irregularly.
