Separate 'penjing' aesthetics article suggested[edit]

I would like to suggest removing the aesthetics of penjing, which already have a separate article presenting the topic in good detail. Although the two art forms use similar materials (trees, pots), their aesthetic goals and approaches are quite different. Placing them in the same article and essentially duplicating a little of the aesthetics section of the current penjing article does neither subject a favor here. Details of penjing aesthetics have been removed and a pointer to its parent article put in place. I have also changed the organization of the items a little. Sahara110 (talk) 22:10, 1 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Working towards "B" class[edit]

I would like to update the article to help it move from "C" class to "B" class by the standards of the Wikiproject Japan working group. Their recent review indicates that project quality criteria are not met for Referencing and citation and Coverage and accuracy. Do any bonsai-interested readers have ideas that might be incorporated to improve the current article? I know I can add some depth in referencing and citation, but improving coverage and accuracy seems a little harder to figure out. Sahara110 (talk) 20:26, 24 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]
