Could anyone help with the following question regarding Canada CCI:
a) What, if any, are alternative Consumer Confidence/Sentiment indexes in Canada.
b) Where is it possible to download the historical time series for Conference Board CCI index?
I need data for an economic study, and its surprising how hard it is to find historical time series for Canada. Most countries make historical CCI data easily accessible, including breakdowns by responses to each question, but this is not the case for Canada. Conference Board seems to offer the CCI only if you buy their expensive e-data subscription, packed with data you do not need. There sure should be a similar study conducted by some university, or NSO.
