Contested deletion[edit]

This article should not be speedily deleted for lack of asserted importance because... the organization is a national trade organization in the same ilk as the BSC or ASC relating to Cinema of Canada. The organization hosts an annual awards ceremony relevent to Cinema of Canada. The article is mentioned frequently in multiple wikipedia articles, and after seeing the redlink all over the place, I began the article.

For example: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rene_Ohashi https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cinematographer https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cinema_Canada https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Robert_McLachlan_(cinematographer) https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/CSC

Additionally, I would further request some Canadian editors reign in on this. I will also post this to the WikiProject:Film page as well. Cheers.
