The Colin Quinn Show

Can The Colin Quinn Show be considered cancelled if NBC only committed to three episodes? I remember at the end of the last episode that Colin was amazed that he got to finish the run. MMetro 09:57, 19 September 2007 (UTC)

Bumbling is a more appropriate adjective to describe Quinn than "cynical.'


Most or all of Quinn's guests have lambasted him in the past for his repeated failures to deliver jokes and inability to properly read cue-cards. Quinn himself usually flaps his lips and gives up-- it's pathetic to any sensible person. I'm not saying he's a bad guy, but let's be honest about his performance characteristics.

However, he is so cute that no one seems to notice.


I do agree that Collin Quinn is adorable. During his SNL years he did fudge a few lines, but on Tough Crowd he never missed a beat.

My friend, who is not really a reliable source, said they saw Colin Quinn at Caroline's cuddling with a man. Is he gay? Please tell me he's not!

Colin Quinn is FAR from GAY. He has a past that would make you little boys drool with envy,,,,,,so ive read, But thats not important. He is one of the best and most underrated comics of my time. I am very honored to have witnessed his unique delivery on SNL and in my opinion- SNL went to hell when Colin left the show. And yes,,,he is quite a doll. Very adorable. Insightful and has his own kind of humor that only a choice few really seem to appreciate. Unsourced claims regarding sexual acts

I put multiple requests for sources on the many claims of sexual acts. While it's possible Colin said all of this, if it's being portrayed as anything other than a comedic routine (i.e. real-life events), it needs a source better than "The Howard Stern Show" (include episode, date, etc.). My reason for skepticism is that unsourced or made-up stories typically say "it was on 'The Howard Stern Show'" as a catch-all attribution, just like Andy Rooney, George Carlin, or Bill Gates (see snopes.com). Content Update

I work for Rubenstein and we represent Colin Quinn Long Story Short. Per BLP Standards, I propose adding mentions of Quinn's one-man show, Colin Quinn Long Story Short, in the first paragraph and in the Post-SNL section. Additionally, I propose removing the unsourced content in the SNL section as it does not meet BLP standards. If the content is not added in 48 hours, I will go ahead and edit the entry directly. I know that I have no proof, but I am a relative and I have a little more detail on the manifestoes

I was visiting Colin to borrow a computer keyboard for my TiVo and he showed me a folder on his mac containing several dozen text files with filenames like "computers and the internet.txt", "Music.txt", and "Movies.txt", and some other stuff. He said they were stuff he mostly hadn't used yet. This was about two years ago, as of October 2010. ToaDjango (talk) 15:49, 13 October 2010 (UTC)

He's one of the worst comedians there is that people know about, mainly because many of his jokes are very plain, delivered wrong, or were just not quality material, that is why his show got canceled, and is often referred to as one of the worst comedians on TV. A lot of people just find him unfriendly and not likable, he doesn't come off as a comedian. His jokes are very boring and has an extremely weird sense of humor. His show, which I watched for quite a while, was very boring, many of them were just laughing at their own jokes even when it wasn't funny. How about the fact that his show was kind of racist? I saw an episode when it aired and was surprised that something that awful was allowed to air. Colin played a man who with his wife invited a guy down the street over for dinner. The guy was Islamic and they proceeded to ask him for several minutes why he wanted to kill all Americans and other things like that. The guy was clearly just a normal person with a religion that wasn't popular after 9/11. ... Then in the last 15 seconds after showing he was a nice, misunderstood person in the presence of bigots he suddenly reveals that he's a terrorist and the two bigots are redeemed. There was quite a bit of information in the Wikipedia article about Quinn's personal life. I assume it was removed because of his divorce and out of respect for his ex wife. Maybe at Quinn's request. Who knows. But he does have a personal life you idiots. Its just not plastered all over the place like your usual celebrity ham. And I wont go into the details of what was removed from this original article- out of respect for him and his said ex-spouse. And thank God for Colin Quinn. Censorship of legitimately sourced information "out of respect"? What information was removed?
