Horbin Bernsen[edit]

I do not think Horbin is real.

Bernsen "converted"...[edit]

Bernsen became involved with the town of Kipling in the province of Saskatchewan in Canada and claims to have been "converted" and aware sensitive to different ways of living life through the experience. He claims that small town life in Canada is desirable. He made the comments on the Gill Deacon Show, a weekday TV programme on the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation. These comments are welcome given the unfathomably hostile attitude of most Canadian people toward rural life in Canada, and especially a despicable anti-Saskatchewan attitude. Cheers to Bernsen for his comments, a refreshingly objective account of rural life that Kipling makes possible.

Copyedit[edit]

So I'm copyediting this article for the GOCE backlog drive, and I came upon the statement below. I removed it from the article because it's both unsourced and potentially libelous, as per BLP policy. As a copyeditor, it's not my job to hunt down a reliable source, so I put it here so that another editor can take that on. And while you're at it, there is certain to be lots of reliable sources out there about this important actor, so this article could use a fact and reference check. I did look at a few of the sources, and discovered that although the Soap Opera Digest link isn't broken, it only goes to SOD's home page, and not to the interview in question.

While portraying Roger Dorn in the feature film Major League, Bernsen was involved in a real-life altercation with co-star Charlie Sheen. During the scuffle, Bernsen suffered a slight tear in his rotator cuff, leaving him unable to throw a baseball. As a result, Bernsen was not in any on-field baseball action for the sequels Major League II and Major League: Back to the Minors. Christine (talk) 12:28, 2 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]
