Birth year correct?[edit]

If Gunter was born in 1936 that would have made him 15 or 16 when he joined the Platters in 1952. Certainly not unheard of for someone that young to be in a group, but given it was common practice to use "adjusted" birth years for singers in those days, I thought I would flag it in case there's any info about to suggest he might have been born earlier. 23skidoo (talk) 20:15, 26 January 2022 (UTC)[reply]
