Cleanup

I just did a major edit and rewrite of this article. Simply put, it was a mess.

I rewrote the entire text to make it as objective as possible and not so much like a poorly written press release from New York Nonstop or WNBC. Whoever created this page did not put much care in its grammar, prose or appearance, and I did my best to fix these errors.

I encourage other Wikipedians in the New York City area familiar with New York Nonstop to contribute to this article and make it more relevant and accurate, as I live in the Los Angeles area.

Possible consolidation

NBCUniversal announced earlier in the month that it is planning on turning NBC Nonstop from a series of six local feeds into one national network that will be distributed to other NBC affiliates as well, starting in 2012 (See article). I think that there should be a discussion to possibly consolidate the individual Nonstop articles into one single article as the launch of the national Nonstop service comes closer. In order to get a consensus, this discussion thread is being placed on all of the local Nonstop pages. TVtonightOKC (talk) 20:41, 8 November 2011 (UTC) RESPONSES

Not until NBC Nonstop's launch: Each page belongs to the NBC O&O in question. If anything, the articles should be merged with the stations that run the local NBC Nonstop channels NOT merge them into one, singular page until the launch of NBC Nonstop as a national network. 19:56, 29 March 2012 (UTC) Special:Contributions/User:BBCNYC (talk)
There does not seem to be notability of the individual subchannels with only one article about each of them, so I have wrote a "branded format" article for them and redirect the articles. Spshu (talk) 17:34, 28 July 2012 (UTC)
Actually, there is notability for subchannels, Spshu just fails to see it. - NeutralhomerTalk • 19:50, 29 July 2012 (UTC)
If the subchannel article does not meet WP:Notability#General notability guideline by having "significant coverage in reliable sources that are independent of the subject," then it should not have its own article. There are currently 3 users (including me) that disagree with you on subchannel article notability in the discussion at WikiProject Television Stations. So you are the one who fails to see that there's not notability for most subchannel articles. Powergate92Talk 20:01, 29 July 2012 (UTC)
We don't vote here, remember? This isn't a democracy and consensus has not been established until the discussion is closed. - NeutralhomerTalk • 20:31, 29 July 2012 (UTC)
Now the affiliates need to be merged in because it is now Cozi TV on some affiliates. 68.44.51.49 (talk) 20:23, 20 December 2012 (UTC)
