I am not too sure about the statement that the TVR opened the line: according to my pre-grouping atlas it never got near the NA&HR line? Peter Shearan 12:13, 4 August 2006 (UTC)

Take a look at http://www.railscot.co.uk/Taff_Vale_Extension/frame.htm This suggests that it was the Taff Vale Extension (Newport, Abergavenny and Hereford Railway) Owain (talk) 12:59, 4 August 2006 (UTC)
