Contested deletion[edit]

This article should not be speedily deleted for lack of asserted importance because... (Daya is an established Billboard Top 200 artist in the US, and the article has citations for several notable media outlets in America, including Billboard's official website, the Today Show, and music news website Headline Planet. I'm not familiar enough with writing articles on living people to know the normal protocol for this, but I figured it should be mentioned that Daya has come out (https://www.billboard.com/photos/8465833/lgbt-stars-come-out-2018 for more details).
