Track listing[edit]

I notice all of my edits have been reverted. With regard to the iTunes release having five bonus tracks, the source given http://www.josepvinaixa.com/blog/divergent-soundtrack-itunes/ makes no mention of these five bonus tracks. The page links to https://itunes.apple.com/us/album/divergent-original-motion/id826164249 which does not show these tracks.

With regard to the track listing on the standard release, I invite you to look at http://www.allmusic.com/album/divergent-original-motion-picture-soundtrack-mw0002616437, http://www.amazon.com/Divergent-Various-Artists/dp/B00I1KDOYU/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1394833216&sr=8-1&keywords=divergent+soundtrack, and https://play.google.com/store/music/album/Various_Artists_Divergent_Original_Motion_Picture_?id=Ba6ibqxvvwvj5p3dsmend3bc4qq. The sources http://www.hollywoodreporter.com/earshot/divergent-soundtrack-kendrick-lamar-snow-683531 and http://news.radio.com/2014/02/24/divergent-soundtrack-features-ellie-goulding-kendrick-lamar-tame-impala-zedd-skrillex/ support your view for the track listing but I cannot find website where the release is sold with this listing. These sources are from several weeks before the release of the soundtrack and there may have been changes made to the track listing during that time interval.50.44.141.204 (talk) 21:53, 14 March 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, thanks for willing to talk to me regarding the article.

First thing is that you are right they are from several weeks before the release of the soundtrack and there may have been changes made to the track listing during that time interval but The Hollywood Reporter and Indiewire are very reliable sources and until we get more reliable sources than them, I think we should follow them because Allmusic and iTunes have all the tracks mixed up and we can't get the order from them. If you have better suggestions about this I will be very glad to hear that.

On to second thing the bonus songs, for that I must apologize first. You are right, there are no mention of five bonus songs but http://www.josepvinaixa.com/blog/divergent-soundtrack-itunes/ and http://news.getmusicasia.com/2014/03/08/divergent-original-score-junkie-xl-march-release/ does mention a bonus/extra song on digital release, which is "You’re Not Gonna Like This".

As for rest of the bonus songs, I already removed them.--Jockzain (talk) 22:28, 14 March 2014 (UTC)[reply]

This is very peculiar. The official website supports the current track listing http://www.divergentsoundtrack.com/news so it is probably best if we leave it as it is for now. There are some individuals selling the album on Ebay with the same track listing as Allmusic and Amazon but this is far from reliable. The easiest way to resolve this would be to find an image of the back cover of the 13 track release.50.44.141.204 (talk) 22:57, 14 March 2014 (UTC)[reply]
Also, I think that bonus track is for the digital version of the score, not the soundtrack. It should probably be moved down into the score section.50.44.141.204 (talk) 23:01, 14 March 2014 (UTC)[reply]
Well album is only digitally releasing now, the physical format release date is end of March 2014, so to make sure the proper listing of the tracks, we will have to wait.--Jockzain (talk) 23:04, 14 March 2014 (UTC)[reply]
Yes the bonus track should be in score section, so I moved it there.--Jockzain (talk) 23:08, 14 March 2014 (UTC)[reply]
