- Well, two things about that: 1) The source says 240 countries and territories, which is an important distinction that was omitted. 2) While I acknowledge the possibility that the distribution is this wide, it is a controversial claim attributed to a primary source, which makes it a bit unreliable. A corporate suit trying to drum up buzz for a film might exaggerate the figures. It also seems a bit grandiose when you consider the shape of the world. Does every country and territory have the infrastructure to support 1080p+ streaming internet? Maybe. Many places are islands, and some are under totalitarian regimes or practise heavy censorship, or are war torn, some are underdeveloped, some regions are empty wilderness, etc. Are people in Syria, Afghanistan and Yemen chilling and watching Amazon? I mean, maybe, but streaming companies don't exactly allow for any transparency. Anyway, I've adjusted the claim to "worldwide". Cyphoidbomb (talk) 16:41, 23 February 2021 (UTC)
