Orphaned references in East-Southern African lion[edit]

I check pages listed in Category:Pages with incorrect ref formatting to try to fix reference errors. One of the things I do is look for content for orphaned references in wikilinked articles. I have found content for some of East-Southern African lion's orphans, the problem is that I found more than one version. I can't determine which (if any) is correct for this article, so I am asking for a sentient editor to look it over and copy the correct ref content into this article.

Reference named "csg2005":

  • From African lion: "Conservation Strategy for the Lion West and Central Africa", Cat Specialist Group / IUCN, Yaounde, Cameroon, 2006
  • From Panthera leo leo: Cat Specialist Group (2006). Conservation Strategy for the Lion West and Central Africa. IUCN, Yaounde, Cameroon.
  • From Panthera leo melanochaita: IUCN Cat Specialist Group (2006). Conservation Strategy for the Lion Panthera leo in Eastern and Southern Africa. IUCN, Pretoria, South Africa.

I apologize if any of the above are effectively identical; I am just a simple computer program, so I can't determine whether minor differences are significant or not. AnomieBOT 02:31, 18 September 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Split[edit]

East African lion and Southern African lion have become articles again, so I decided to reduce the number of these articles by redirecting this page to an article that already has the information, that is African lion. Leo1pard (talk) 17:16, 27 September 2018 (UTC)[reply]
