Editors[edit]

Do we need to list the editors in the #Post-production section? Emir of Wikipedia (talk) 20:06, 7 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]

This is a standard across these MCU series and film articles. They are reliably sourced and one of them has an article, plus it adds context to who worked in this area of the production. Trailblazer101 (talk) 20:10, 7 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]
It is also ideal to have infobox details be sourced in the body of the article where possible. - adamstom97 (talk) 20:51, 7 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Echo's ratings from Nielsen[edit]

Nielsen said Echo's viewership ratings for it's debut from Tuesday January 9th thru Sunday January 14th were 731 million minutes viewed across all 5 of its episodes with a #10 spot on Nielsen's overall Top 10 streaming charts: https://www.nielsen.com/data-center/top-ten/.

Hoping we can add this into the show's wiki page in the Audience viewership section. MarvelDisney20 (talk) 04:10, 9 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]

MOS:SLASH[edit]

Hi, Adamstom.97, thanks for the helpful edit summary. I double-checked, and you're right. The example used on MOS:SLASH for "items with one internal space" - (the NY 31 east / NY 370 exit) was confusing (I presume it's some sort of American road designation?) I was going by the initial example used. BastunĖġáḍβáś₮ŭŃ! 21:03, 11 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Next time use the talk page before being reverted three times by three different editors. Gonnym (talk) 05:25, 12 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Next time use a meaningful edit summary, or don't revert multiple edits because you couldn't undo an intermediate one? But thanks. BastunĖġáḍβáś₮ŭŃ! 09:07, 12 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]
If you don't understand something you should ask. Or just look at every other Marvel and DC film and television article. Gonnym (talk) 10:13, 12 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Sure, but I've also had someone argue "It doesn't matter what the MOS explicitly says, we do things differently here" before (referring to Marvel/DC articles), so... BastunĖġáḍβáś₮ŭŃ! 12:04, 12 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]
That is not an excuse to edit disruptively. If you don't know or something is unclear, ask and engage in discussion to help familiarize yourself (not edit and revert repeatedly) with how certain articles function and why. Chances are a lot of needless problems can be avoided and an answer or solution exists, as in this case. Trailblazer101 (talk) 16:29, 12 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]
If you believe I've been editing disruptively, you know where WP:AN/I is. Beware of WP:BOOMERANG, though. BastunĖġáḍβáś₮ŭŃ! 17:17, 12 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Alaqua Cox is deaf[edit]

Hi, @Favre1fan93. Could you explain please, why have you removed the only mention being Alaqua Cox a deaf person that I added? Now there is nothing about this in the article. It's not important? Thank you. IKhitron (talk) 18:12, 16 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]

It needs to be added with a reliable source contextualizing its importance and relevance to this series, not just stating a fact about Cox that one can simply find on her page. Trailblazer101 (talk) 19:49, 16 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]
I see. This one fits to this definition? IKhitron (talk) 20:54, 16 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]
It would certainly seem to fit the bill. It's addressed in the associated GMA interview, also, as well as the article text. BastunĖġáḍβáś₮ŭŃ! 22:20, 16 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Great. So, can I do something like this: in "Casting", after "By August 2021, casting for the series was underway, with Marvel Studios looking to cast deaf Native American or Latinx women.[3]", to be "... or Latinx women,[3] and Alaqua Cox, being deaf<ref>the source above</ref>, was chosen to the role.? IKhitron (talk) 22:28, 16 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Yes, absolutely. (Note that punctuation goes after references, not before, though.) I do think the whole aspect of casting multiple deaf actors in the show is an omission from the article as it stands, and needs inclusion. BastunĖġáḍβáś₮ŭŃ! 22:36, 16 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Great, thanks. I'll do it now, and fix the punctuation you've mentioned. IKhitron (talk) 23:27, 16 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]
That location has no relation whatsoever to Cox at all. I originally reverted because as added read incredibly like a trivia bullet on a fan wiki. My recommendation is noting about this in her character section (again if appropriate), or in the first sentence about Cox being associated with the spinoff when that was revealed in March 2021. Ideally a source from that time noting that or we can take a more recent one and integrate it in in some form. But as of now it just appears you're shoehorning that info in to completely unrelated info. - Favre1fan93 (talk) 00:16, 17 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Could you please add it by yourself, @Favre1fan93, in a form that you like it? It's the most important part of the article, and can't be just omitted, as for now. Here is a source for example from the days of the Hawkeye release [1], and here is on from that March: [2]. Thank you. IKhitron (talk) 10:06, 17 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]
That location has no relation to Cox, but it has everything to do with casting. It was a deliberate decision to cast deaf people in the roles of deaf people/people raised by deaf parents, and that section seems the most appropriate. BastunĖġáḍβáś₮ŭŃ! 10:26, 17 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]
