In the example above there are three URL's provided with the claim statements, but these URL's have not been placed using Citation Style 1, which is the style predominantly used by the Edmonton & Area Land Trust article. Additionally, the ref tags have not been placed within the text at the exact positions where the information they reference resides. Using the correct style and the correct positioning of the ref tags, the WikiFormatted text would resemble the following:

In the example above the references have been formatted according to Citation Style 1, which shows the author, the source's name, date, etc. Also, the ref tags are placed in the exact location where the text which they reference resides. Some proposed changes[edit]

Thank you for your help in making sure we follow Wikipedia rules and guidelines. I have a series of suggested changes that will streamline the article and provide support for the information that is stated within it.

  • I suggest that EALT’s mission be added to the general overview of this page. I think this will provide suitable background information about the purpose of the organisation. Please add as a new paragraph after “Currently, the land trust stewards nine natural areas in the Edmonton area, with more to come.”:

"Our Mission". Edmonton and Area Land Trust. Retrieved 2019-01-18.  The Edmonton and Area Land Trust is a non-profit organization dedicated to conserving vital natural areas in the Edmonton region. These natural areas provide essential habitat for wild species and crucial opportunities for local residents to connect with nature, as well as many environmental benefits. To advance local environmental stewardship and conservation, EALT also works to inform the public about important conservation issues.

I suggest instead simply listing the names of the conservation lands, some of which will link to news articles about those conservation lands. Please delete the existing Golden Ranches and Larch Sanctuary sections, including the paragraph below each, and replace with the following list:

  1. Green tickY The descriptions of conservation lands were returned to the article in list form.
  2. Red XN The suggested references were not added, as the information in said list is verifiable through already existing sources placed under the references section. Additional references ought to come from sources which are unconnected to the subject of the article.
