Page biased in favour of Holyfield[edit]

It will be good if somebody can review or rewrite this page as the author clearly favours Holyfield. I removed a quote by Tyson's old trainer Atlas slandering Tyson. - Thursday 9th Jan 2014 by mrhighoctane

Concur, in the body it remains balanced in-spite of the lack of citations, but then goes for unsubstantiated claims about Tyson's motives for biting Holyfield. 81.158.208.97 (talk) 19:36, 16 February 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Adrian Dodson vs. Alain Bonnamie 2nd Bite Fight[edit]

Has anyone remember on October 5, 1999 when Adrian Dodson was disqualified for biting Alain Bonnamie's mouth in the last round during our Commonwealth title fight in London, England? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 24.90.178.88 (talk) 01:08, 23 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Page moved[edit]

The Bite Fight wasn't an appropriate title. Funny, but that doesn't work for an encyclopedia. --EndlessDan 17:18, 16 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

BiteFight?[edit]

Why does BiteFight redirect to this? BiteFight is a browser/text rpg. --Purerok (talk) 05:24, 15 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I've heard it called the "Ear Match". Easily one of the most bizarre moments in boxing history.83.254.156.42 (talk) 10:00, 13 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]
I also heard it called "Pay per Chew," a word play based on "pay per view," referring to how the bout was shown on TV. 69.42.17.116 (talk) 09:34, 12 March 2016 (UTC)[reply]
"The Ear Match" here too. I wonder if Tyson was inspired by the scene in Godfather III (1990) where Vincent suddenly and savagely bites Joey Zasa in the ear? 83.254.143.135 (talk) 18:50, 13 April 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Odds[edit]

Was Evander Holyfield again the underdog prior to this fight? (as he was before Tyson-Holyfield 1) --178.191.50.224 (talk) 17:31, 12 December 2011 (UTC) I remember wagering $300 on Holyfield at the MGM sports book and being paid $510 (+170). You could have got 20-1 if you had bet on Holyfield winning in the 4th round. 2601:602:D080:AE90:AD0D:BE1C:FA9C:1B0E (talk) 04:50, 17 November 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Holyfield–Tyson IIEvander Holyfield vs. Mike Tyson II – We should have the full name of the fight rather than an abbreviation. Beast from da East (talk) 23:13, 22 May 2013 (UTC)[reply]

I'm not sure why the title of this article is abbreviated to "Holyfield–Tyson II", but I think we should change the title to the official title of "Evander Holyfield vs. Mike Tyson II", as most of our boxing articles on this site use that type of title.
