Not really the title[edit]

FUBAR (Fucked Up Beyond All Repair/Recognition) is an American action-comedy television series…

Yes, that's what FUBAR actually means—but as:

  • The spelled-out acronym isn't actually part of the series' title; and
  • There are still a few of us, here in the 21st century, who prefer not to have to see or hear the word "fuck" everywhere we turn

…I've suggested omitting the somewhat overzealous explanation from the lede and including a link to it in the Production section, should anyone need it. – AndyFielding (talk) 09:00, 25 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]

This series is promoted on Instagram with the anagram "Father Undercover But Also Retired" anyway. Wyliepedia @ 19:59, 25 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]
This is not like The End of the F***ing World. FUBAR is only advertised as FUBAR, it was never actually spelled out. Also, the reliable source says Schwarzenegger was the one who was describing the series that way. It wasn't even explicitly confirmed as hat as the spelled-out acronym. — YoungForever(talk) 00:01, 26 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]
