Two questions[edit]

1) References to 2 and 3 appear to be the same newspaper article.

2) That article does say that no city has emerged from Act 47. The table shows that several cities have had their 'designation rescinded'. What's the difference between emerging from act 47 and 'designation rescinded'? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 108.26.68.11 (talk) 19:35, 5 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]

No city has emerged from Act 47, however other types of municipalites (boroughs or townships) have. 71.254.119.3 (talk) 00:40, 5 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Altoona[edit]

As of June Altoona is under Act 47, so that bit of the article and the table need updated. http://www.pennlive.com/midstate/index.ssf/2012/06/altoona_joins_harrisburg_and_2.html 71.254.119.3 (talk) 00:36, 5 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Other articles put it as of May 3, to be exact. 71.254.119.3 (talk) 00:44, 5 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]
