sigh i made this then somone else makes one with some thigns i missed mine gets merged and most of the stuff i wrote is gone... now some idiot doesnt think its hte irght name when theres a link to the show at the bottom.... If you don't like how the merge was done, check the earlier version [1] and fix this article to your liking. Be bold and improve the article! - Stoph 00:28, 28 December 2005 (UTC)[reply]

From the link, the merge looks justified. The unsigned poster didn't properly capitalize the title of his article and threw around a number of POV statements about the show without substantiation. The post-merge article is pretty badly written, but given the poor spelling, lack of capitalization and improper punctuation in the unsigned poster's post, I'm not sure he's the one to fix it. I'm not even sure what the poster wants; is he just whining? He seems to be saying that proper capitalization of the show title is a stupid waste of time. Puhleeze. Somebody else knowledgable about the show should rewrite the article. Canonblack 03:21, 20 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Fair use rationale for Image:Firstwave01.jpg[edit]

Image:Firstwave01.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in Wikipedia articles constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot 07:05, 4 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

You Don't Know what the Gua Look Like?[edit]

Before you say that you don't have a 'sense' of what the Gua actually look like, watch the season 3 episode where Cade is infected with Gua DNA. He actually starts to become a Gua! If you have seen this episode, you will notice that Gua really look reptoid in physiology. Dark Observer 16:46, 9 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

airings[edit]

should we mention that this show airs on A-Channel, usually around 3-5 AM? RingtailedFoxTalkContribs 10:49, 29 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

4th season[edit]

The show was not canceled after the 3rd season because of low ratings. The Sci-Fi channel tried to pick it up for a 4th season but the company that produced the show was bought by a German company that had no interest in producing Sci-Fi shows. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 24.209.194.93 (talk) 16:29, 27 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Spelling and Order of First Names[edit]

In S02E12 (Night Fall) at approx. 7:13 there is a news broadcast with Foster's mugshot. Foster's first names are written "Kincaid Lawrence". Where does the other spelling / order of names come from and which one is correct?

Country of origin[edit]

Does this count as Canadian? While it was filmed in Canada to keep production costs lower it was filmed for Sci-Fi which is a US network. Smallville is also filmed in Canada but its country of origin is listed as the United States. NebraskaDontAsk (talk) 21:03, 27 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Not correct, as First Wave was airing in Canada in 1998 before it began airing in the US on March 19, 1999. The show had already begun its production before Sci-Fi Channel committed to a full 66 episode order (ie the funding is itself referenced in an off-shoot comment in the show in the episode Lost Souls. Pay attention to $66 million). Country of Origin is Canada! — Preceding unsigned comment added by 207.250.28.21 (talk) 21:27, 2 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]
