Both the title and the beginning of the first sentence seem like generic references to the team rather than its actual name (further evidenced by the facts that they're different, and neither is capitalized). This creates a kind of distant, removed feeling not at all reflective of WP's usual fully-engaged, here-now approach. Naturally, the team's official name would be in French. I suggest the article's title remain the same, for searchability; but that the lede begin with the French name—capitalized, as it would now be a proper noun—followed by an English translation in parentheses.
