"Fu-gee-la" doesn't contain any elements of the song "Ooh La La La" by Teena Marie — it only uses the chorus from that song as the basis for its own chorus. The song samples "If Loving You Is Wrong, I Don't Want To Be Right" by Ramsey Lewis. As with nearly all of the Fugees hits, the song utilizes a chorus and a background from already existing music, the only "original" aspect being tthe rap lyrics. --Mrlopez2681 (talk) 03:50, 25 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]
