Structure & Content[edit]

This article seems to need a little help! I did a very hasty reorganization, as it was quite repetitive - but I think some of the content could be revisited, as well. And I don't have time at the moment... For now, I also removed these two statements because I feel that they could use a citation - I had understood that Titian may have worked in Giovanni's workshop (not Gentile's) before joining Giorgione's. Anyway, reference?

"In his last years he was the first master of Titian. He passed away having been shot by a jealous, adulterous wife in 1507." Isocephaly (talk) 00:23, 14 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Also have now removed the line, "A portrait by Gentile Bellini and workshop of the much-loved Venetian Beato Lorenzo Giustiniani is at the Bagatti Valsecchi Museum in Milan." only because I suspect it may be a mistake - there is another (more famous) Giustiniani portrait by the Bellini workshop listed earlier in the article as in the Accademia. Perhaps the same one? Or did he do two? Thanks, Isocephaly (talk) 20:39, 19 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]
