Album[edit]

Wikipedia erroneously calls this album a compilation. Here's a review from the time period that calls it a double album. https://www.rollingstone.com/music/music-album-reviews/get-up-with-it-102991/ There are no sources that call it a compilation.

Big agreement on this. There is a very simple way the wording could be changed, but it would no doubt send people like the "reliable source" maven at the bottom of the page here into a tizzy. One of those instances where I'm more than happy to let the erroneous info stay, proudly tied in the page history to those who insist on it not being properly credited.

Capitalization[edit]

Is "up" not functioning as an adverb in the title? If so, it should be capitalized in the title. I do not know how to fix this. Funkeboy 11:02, 31 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I think you're right. Allmusic has it as "Get Up with It". Sony/Legacy shows it as "Get Up With It". Amazon lists it both ways. If anyone disagrees, please do a proper page move or ask someone for help. This article was previously subject to a cut-and-paste move, with the result that there were two (nearly identical) forks from the same article. -- Gyrofrog (talk) 20:29, 31 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Fair use rationale for Image:Miles Davis get up with it.png[edit]

Image:Miles Davis get up with it.png is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Anything released had already been recorded prior to 1975 (e.g. Circle in the Round, I think). He recorded a little between 1975 and 1980 but none of it was officially released. -- Gyrofrog (talk) 14:05, 24 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]
