Comment[edit]

Can the main editor divide out the episode listings by season?

Perhaps edit the guest column to say "N/A" where applicable. Right now where it's left empty, it seems to be populated with TBA, which is not exactly applicable. I'm not familiar enough with how things work to do the edit myself.GotGlassTubes (talk) 01:38, 8 September 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Episode guide[edit]

Since people keep adding the 158k long episode list back in, this is an edited version of a discussion at the talk page of @Ariesartist1:.

A hundred and fifty eight thousand characters long episode listing is not Wikipedia is for. If you're into Gilmore Guys, feel free to start your own fanpage. It does not belong on Wikipedia.

Please see WP:NOT. WP:LONGTIME, WP:EFFORT, WP:NOHARM and WP:WHATABOUTX are not reasons to keep this stuff. That's not Wikipedia is for. There's no guideline that says "articles about podcasts can be devoted and exhaustive". WP:SIZERULE says every 1,000 characters is 1 kB. >100 kB articles should be split. What I took out was ~ 158 kB of characters alone. If I'd take that gigantic chunk of WP:FANCRUFT material and create a new article, it would be deleted swiftly as it is unsourced, trivial and unencyclopedic.

There's also the WP:BURDEN of reinstating unsourced material. It is on the reverter to add sources, not on the person removing it.

Otherwise there's the option of starting a request for comment, if you want to hear another opinion on the matter. soetermans. ↑↑↓↓←→←→ B A TALK 12:44, 30 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]
