"I was cutting the rug" Couldn't that be sexual innuendo? --71.224.19.29 16:34, 10 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

he was dancing. --66.218.12.122 04:01, 11 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Yeah, the term "cutting the rug" means that they were dancing. That's why you hear "Wait a minute mister, I didn't even kiss her" later. If it was sexual at all, that wouldn't make sense. "151.200.178.97 02:58, 6 May 2007 (UTC)"[reply]

Water fell on the floor[edit]

Is this a euphemism for urinating in your pants? It has always seemed that way to me, but people I have spoken to about it deny it, thinking that in the commotion, a glass of water was tipped over on a bar table. 65.248.164.214 (talk) 19:51, 30 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Stick Her[edit]

Ronnie would change the lyrics, replacing "kiss" with "stick" ("Oh, wait a minute, mister; I didn't even kiss her!" to "Oh, wait a minute, mister; I didn't even stick her!"). This isn't true. I have many different versions of this song, and Ronnie NEVER said STICK her. That was something little brother Johnny has always sang when he took over in 87.

Ronnie actually did say “I didn’t even stick her” at least once in a live performance. Kart2401real (talk) 23:46, 7 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]
