Glad (Norse mythology)Glaðr – It is convention to use the Old Norse spelling (see Skaði, Njörðr and Svaðilfari) given that it is more useful for helping pronunciation and critically as it can and has been anglicised in a number of different ways ("Glad", "Gladr", "Glathr", "Glath"). It is further a useful move to remove the need for the "(Norse mythology)" disambiguator, currently needed as "Glad" holds other meanings. Due to the issues with anglicising, the form "Glaðr" is often used in scholarship. Ingwina (talk) 20:27, 25 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]
