Fair use rationale for Image:Ashurasmiles.png[edit]

Image:Ashurasmiles.png is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images lacking such an explanation can be deleted one week after being tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

Alternative name[edit]

If anyone knows how to make Chinese characters, I can send you a scan of it as it appears on the Truly Clean cover. I assume this is the Japanese name referred to on the DVD bio screen, but I usually see her name in Japanese written in a katakana approximation of "Gloria Yip." --Scottandrewhutchins (talk) 14:09, 22 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Update: The album that was sold to me on eBay as Truly Clean by Gloria Yip as actually by her Saga of the Phoenix co-star, Loletta Lee, which explains why the face looked familiar but didn't look like her. I don't think it was even called Truly Clean. The musician credits are correct, though. --Scottandrewhutchins (talk) 15:51, 18 December 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Possible errors[edit]

Rebel from China (1990) The Eagle Shooting Heroes (1993) Love and the City (1994)

Although she is credited on IMDb, I submitted them myself based on the info at hkcinemagic.com. I asked about them on the hkcinemagic message boards and learned that they may be erroneous. IMDb is therefore not a reliable source in this circumstance. --Scottandrewhutchins (talk) 18:31, 6 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Chicken and Duck Talk[edit]

I just saw Chicken and Duck Talk and added that she was seventeenth billed, had no lines, and less than a minute of screen time. The seventeenth billing may be incorrect. She is the twelfth person listed on the end credits, and there are five cast credits at the beginning. The question is, because I do not read Chinese and simply was able to match her name, if the credits groupings before the one she appears in are of cast or crew. --Scottandrewhutchins (talk) 01:43, 8 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Democrats[edit]

This may be the same thing as Mu Lian Saves Mother. Google Translate was not as good at Chinese when I developed this article in 2008. The source page no longer exists, so I had to use the Wayback Machine. I was not able to find anything called Democrats with the current translation. Perhaps someone who knows the language better can confirm and explain the confusion --Scottandrewhutchins (talk) 15:43, 18 December 2022 (UTC)[reply]
