Operated by[edit]

The article text says that the cottage is operated by the Historic Sites Association of Newfoundland and Labrador. However, there is Parks Canada signage on the site, the Parks Canada website lists Hawthorne Cottage as a site administered by Parks Canada and the site is federally owned. It is possible that the HSANL is responsible for some activities on the site, pursuant to an agreement with Parks Canada, or maybe the feds have downloaded operations to the local group. Or maybe the reference to HSANL is an error. I don't know. Regardless, we need a reliable source(s) which delineates the roles played by Parks Canada and the HSANL, assuming HSANL does play a role, and a more detailed explanation in the article.
