I have created an Historical archive of pictures from High Royds the Former West Riding Pauper Lunatic Asylum. There are over 500 images as well as patient,staff recollections.

This date for closure of Feb 2003 is continually quoted (it's even in the book) but I worked there until round about June 2003 (when the final two wards did close) so know it's incorrect.
