Liverpool earlier than Limehouse[edit]

In the article, it states, " In London, the Limehouse area became the site of the first European Chinatown."

This is incorrect; Liverpool's Chinatown preceded the Limehouse (east London) Chinatown. 76.189.141.37 (talk) 03:34, 8 January 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Seriously flawed article[edit]

The entire article is flawed in multiple ways, and is probably beyond mere editing, and needs to be re-written.

There's something between 'editing' and 'rewriting'[edit]

Yes, it's very poorly written and as a result many of the statements are incredibly ambiguous. In the communities section, the headings are poor (English cities but then referring to Wales as a country) and one of the largest cities with a China Town (Manchester) is totally absent. It's an interesting subject for me, and I may think a little about restructuring it, but I'd rather improve a section than start from scratch. Also, I've been away from Wikipedia essentially since I moved to China because I need a VPN to access the pages (it's blocked by the GFW) and many of the VPN servers are blocked as well. I'm a tad rusty - but lets see how it goes. --Candy (talk) 11:56, 27 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]
