Untitled[edit]

Article had a sentence fragment as follows:

"Sligo is on the crossing point of several routes and is a natural meeting-place where trade may take place marketplace which attracted settlement;" [After the semicolon a new sentence with a capital letter was begun, leaving that string of words hanging.]
With some uncertainty as to what was meant, I rewrote this string of words so that it makes sense in two sentences. Whoever is the author, should check to see if I got it right. I gave up editing this article after I encountered a two word sentence fragment. The whole article may need rewriting by someone who knows the subject .(PeacePeace (talk) 01:04, 19 June 2016 (UTC))[reply]
Amen. The syntax of the first paragraph in the 17th century is so tortured I wouldn't try a rewrite because I have so little idea what it means Toyokuni3 (talk) 21:19, 7 July 2023 (UTC)[reply]
