When I was a kid I remember a clown or mime getting a pie in the face. Anyone else remember this?

I wrote the above from another computer, and today removed the "delete" tag from this article. While I agree that it may require clean-up, I don't think it should be deleted. 18:03, 27 October 2007 (UTC)

Hey there 71.96.... and so on. I proposed this article for deletion on two grounds. First, I'm unsure of its notability. Not everything that has ever been on TV necessarily fits the Wikipedia grounds for WP:NOTE. Most significantly, I see nothing on the article page that provides sourcing for the information other than (1) short clips of the show itself or (2) user-created content on other pages. Neither of these satisfies WP:NOTE. The fact that some show aired on a channel (and was seen by you and other editors back then) is not good enough either for an encyclopedia article... that's probably what IMDB and other similar sites are for. I tried to find some better sources myself but could not do so using search engines- I just found the same sort of user-generated content. If you can do better than I, please give it a go- if not I will nominate this article again for deletion (not speedy) in a few days. (The second grounds for deletion was, again, that there was no references of use... though notability is the main issue here).

Also, if you don't have one you might consider getting your own username by clicking sign up. You don't have to log in to read or edit articles on Wikipedia, but creating an account is quick, free and non-intrusive, requires no personal information, and has many benefits. As a registered user, you gain the use of an appropriate username of your choice, a personal watchlist to which you can add articles that interest you, the ability to start new pages, and much more.
